My thoughts about the untimely passing of Whitney Houston

It has taken me a few days to process the recent events. Whitney Houston was one of my favorite female singers. I still can’t believe she’s dead. I also can’t believe that people are being so insensitive to her friends and family. I mean true she was a pop icon, but she was also a human being. It is bad enough to lose a family member, but to see all of this negativity by people who don’t know her must be quite unsettling. I’m sorry she didn’t make the comeback I was hoping for. I do know addiction is a powerful thing to overcome. I for one plan to remember the achievements she made. RIP Whitney. You will be missed.

She is one of my favorite female singers. I love almost all of her songs. She’s gone to early. RIP Whitney Houston.

  3. DeAnna – I will always remember the first time I heard “The Greatest Love of All” – I got chills and cried. Whitney had the voice and a killer smile and really a something special. There are always people who cannot or do not want to understand that life is difficult even if you’re rich and talented. She brought much joy to the world and after all the hurtful stuff goes away that is what she will be remembered for. Hugs.
