What to do before partnering with a virtual assistant

I’ve been doing a telecall series about outsourcing over the past few weeks and I’ve been learning a lot from my guests. Here are some things to do before you partner with a virtual assistant.
Make friends with as many virtual assistants as possible. You can find vas all over the place. Just go to twitter search and type in virtual assistant and start following virtual assistants. Once you have befriended a few you can see what their life is like and how they can fit in with your business. Also if you talk to a few virtual assistants you’ll get a better idea of what the going rate is for the task you’re trying to achieve. Another thing you should do is have a list of things you feel comfortable handing off to a va ready before you partner with one. These are a few tips to help make partnering with a virtual assistant an easy thing to do.
