How to Stand Out Among Other Female Entrepreneurs

As more and more women decide to start a business, it gets harder to stand out among other female entrepreneurs. However, it can be done. Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

Utilize Social Media

Social media can be used for so much more than keeping in touch with friends and family. Create pages for both yourself and your business on multiple social media sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, etc.). Then, share content that shows off the things that you have to offer. Be sure to highlight ways that you are different than your competition. For example, if you’re the only day care service in your town that also provides transportation, be sure to bring that up in your posts.

A review of the app-Fronto

So I have been experimenting with different ways to earn money using your smart phone. One of the apps I came across was fronto. Basically you get points every time you unlock your phone. As far as I know, this app is for Android devices only. Here is a screenshot so you know that you are downloading the correct app.

There is a lot more to achieving any goal than just having the goal. But it is a first step. You may wonder how some people seem so great at achieving their goals while other people aren’t so good at it. Part of the reason why some people fail is that they do not have a specific goal, one that is clear and focused. In addition, they do not have a schedule of action to actually work toward achieving the goal. In order to meet any goal, start doing these five things today.

Three Ideas and Strategies to Give Your Visitors a Reason to Return

A website generates two main types of visitors. There are the visitors that stop by and leave. They never return again. Then there are the visitors that stop by. They bookmark your site. They sign up for your opt-in list. They subscribe to your blog. These are the visitors you want. When you can motivate more new visitors to come back, you’re on your way to converting them to customers.

Two Keys to Happy Website Visitors

As a website owner you want to make sure your visitors are happy. Happy visitors stay on your website longer. They come back for repeat visits. And of course they buy from your website. When it comes to a website’s structure, there are two elements that can make or break your user experience.

Quick load times

There’s nothing that squashes a visitor’s happiness faster than not being able to load a website page. If the page doesn’t come up quickly, your visitor is gone. We’ve grown accustomed to instant gratification online. If your web page takes longer than a few seconds to load, you may miss out on valuable prospects and visitors. They won’t be happy while they’re waiting for your pages to load.

Is Cloud Computing Safe?

We are always looking for ways to keep our data safe in this information age. And the latest way to store information is in the cloud. For those who don’t know, this is a way you can store data remotely rather than on your own device. It cuts IT costs drastically while also speeding up operations. But how safe is it to save data remotely? Most have not made the leap of faith yet to cloud computing.

How to Keep Work Computers Secure

When working to keep data and passwords safe within company computers, employers need to be proactive in ensuring that employees are not putting them at risk. There are risky behaviors that employees do on work computers that a company needs to look at limiting.

Risky Employee Behavior

* Unauthorized use of programs. When employees use unauthorized programs on company computers, it can lead to loss of data for the company.

* Corporate computers used without supervision.

* Transfer of files from work computers to home computers.

* Employees sharing their password with other employees.

Effective Ways to Partner with Influencers in Your Niche or Industry

Many new business owners get so excited at the thought of starting their own profitable company online that they do not look before they leap. They come up with what they think is a great new idea and start to try to sell it without doing proper market research to determine demand and what customers in the niche are willing to pay for products. Other new business owners go to the opposite extreme and steer clear of certain top-earning niches because they think there is too much competition.

Why Analytics Is Essential for Marketing Success

Studying the metrics of what you do is a very important part of having a successful business. Without looking at the numbers you really cannot know exactly why you experienced either success or failure. You can make assumptions, but when you don’t have to do that it’s better to use facts to ensure that your efforts aren’t a waste.

* If You Can’t Measure It Doesn’t Exist – When you set goals, they should be something that can be expressed in numbers: clicks, page views, sign-ups, buys and so forth. You can even assign values to conversions so that Google Analytics tells you what a particular conversion is worth to you without you having to leave the system.
