This year Blog Action Day is focusing on Poverty all over the world. Poverty is a serious issue that not only affects people in other countries, but also affects people right here in America. I know you might be thinking, well I’ve lost my job due to downsizing, rightsizing, and layoffs.  How can I help someone who’s poor when I’m poor myself?  The link in this post is to the hunger site and they have free ways that you can help to end poverty.

Another way you can help is to become a microlender at: http://www.kiva.org. You can help an entrepreneur with a microloan of as little as $25.00. Most Americans spend that much in a week at Starbucks. While you might not be a millionaire, you can do something to help end poverty. Take some action today!
