One of my good friends, Carlton Flowers, posted a podcast about organic vs. Inorganic Twitter List building. Of course I had to respond with a blog post about the topic. Here goes…
First of all, I need to explain what I mean when I say Organic and Inorganic.
Organic basically means you build your list manually. In other words, you seek people out based on a common interest or geographical location, follow them and then hope they follow you back.
Inorganic is when you buy one of those programs that promises to give you x number of followers a day and automatically follow those people back.
Since I decided to stop doing automatic direct messages, I had to come up with another way to give my followers the free twitter guide I’ve been promising. So what I decided to do was to place the guide on this blog. That way I can just tweet the link to the blog. This guide is the same exact guide that I read when I first joined Twitter. It helped me. I hope you get something out of it too. Good luck to you and Happy Tweeting! Just click on the link below to get your free twitter guide. No opt in is needed.
