Use teleseminars to create content for your blog.
There comes a time in every blogger’s life when they get stuck. That dreaded writer’s block rears its ugly head. So what do you do when you need to create content for your blog, but you can’t think of anything to say? Create a teleseminar. Now I know what you’re thinking. Isn’t a teleseminar a lot of work? No not at all. All you need to create a teleseminar is a telephone. In fact, you can invite your blog subscribers to the telecall. When you finish the telecall, you’ll have an audio file that you can upload to your blog. Bam. Now you have fresh content on your blog. There now. That wasn’t so hard, now was it?

Website Review For Today – www.100articles100days.com
I was at a loss on which website to review for you guys today. Since I’m in the middle of an article writing challenge (yes, another one), I decided to review the website for the article writing challenge.
Basically the challenge is to write 100 articles in 100 days. I’m guessing that the goal is to get the articles published on ezinearticles.com Personally, I’m not stopping there. I figure if I’m going to be writing 100 articles anyways, I might as well submit them to as many article directory sites as possible, but I digress since that’s not the purpose of this blog post.
On to the website review:
First of all, I need to go on record as saying I LOVE Ning. Ning makes it possible for ANYONE to have their own social network. http://www.100articles100days.com is being run on Ning. Ning makes it easy for your members to navigate through you website. If they already have a ning account, they can just use their existing Ning information. This particular group is Active! Everyone is full of advice to help each other get to 100 articles in 100 days. Wanna join me in the challenge?
Go to http://www.100articles100days.com to sign up. Post your thoughts and how you’re doing in the comment area of this post!

Women in Technology – Ada Lovelace Day
This post has to be the easiest post I’ve ever written. The woman in technology that’s been the most influential in my life is my Mom. My mom is a computer programmer by trade. She worked for IBM in the late 80s. She was the only black woman in her department. Now she designs websites. One of the websites she designed is located at http://www.hillcrestcoc.net

Why you should actively participate at a seminar…
I was at a seminar this past weekend hosted by Matt Bacak. One of the presenters was Mike Stewart and he was showing people how easy it was to post video online. Now I am horrible at sitting still through lectures (that’s why I like going to school online…but that’s another blog post) because I have ADD so I relish opportunities to participate in the lecture. So he asks for a volunteer and I raise my hand and walk up there to help him with his presentation.
Long story short, I’m now on his blog as one of his examples. Note: I had never used the software he was promoting before that day so it’s really that easy to incorporate video into your blog. He said the video won’t be up on his website for long, so you have to go there now to see me in action…Here’s the link : Virtual Assistant Helps The Internet Video Guy
So not only do I get the exposure from being in the video, everyone in the room got to hear my name and website. Now who do you think they’ll remember more, that person that they swapped business cards with or me? Yep, that’s what I was thinking, too. I’ll keep you informed about how that turned out for me.

Site Review: Web Link Directory – Skoobie.biz
This is a pretty good directory to add your website to. They have free and paid options. The website itself is very user friendly. The paid options are fairly reasonably priced. I’m not an affiliate for this company. I just think this is a good place to list your website or blog. For more details go here: Skoobe Link Directory
