Hello there! My good friend Deni Cooper asked me if I’d be interested in participating in this blog tour. I originally met Deni during my MLM days (I think). Here is her post in the Blog Tour: http://fairybusymommy.com/working-at-home/blogging/summer-blog-tour-fairy-cool-bloggers. I have since changed my business focus, but I still kept in touch with some of the wonderful people I met while I was involved with that industry. So without further ado, here’s my post for this year’s blog tour.
1. What am I working on?
That is a loaded question. I’m working on a lot of things. I’m working on material for a paid membership site which I hope to be done with by the end of September. I’m also working on a new Kindle book to be released at the same time. I’m also planning another telesummit. I’m always working on something. I don’t know how to sit still.
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
What makes my work different is that I’m all about action. I don’t do get rich quick. I’m a big believer in helping people create sustainable income. By that I mean income that comes in every month. I’m not big on “here today, gone tomorrow” type of stuff. I only promote things that I believe will be around for years to come.
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I write the things that I write because there are a lot of scam artists around. I want small business owners to have at least one place they know they can go to and find real solutions to their problems. I want them to see real life stories of people who have been where they are. I want the people that visit my blog to leave feeling like they can achieve their goals.
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
I’m not sure if this counts as a “process”. I’m a big believer that forced writing is horrible. So I don’t write anything if my heart isn’t in it. I used to try to set a certain time to write. I still block out 4 hours to write. Sometimes I spend this time researching. Sometimes it is spent actively writing. Sometimes I brainstorm. What I usually do is take one day for researching and brainstorming. Then the next day I spend just writing. I usually like to write with background noise. I like to fire up noisli.com and plug in my headphones. It helps block out all of the noise my family generates.
That’s enough about me. Now let me introduce a few of my blogging friends…
